Nights in Mojave

Lamp made of Joshua tree root – Joshua tree taken the day after the Oscars. The cactus represents the nights in the Mojave Desert. The full moon that warms and illuminates the abundant cacti, beneath which lies hard cracked earth with geometric shapes of circles and cubes. Those shapes represent the Mojave Desert. The roots, with their unusual shape, left the biggest impression on the author and that is why she decided to take some of them in her suitcase with her.
